Last Call for Board Nominations
Shareholder Members with five or more years of membership are invited to submit their names for nomination to serve on the Board of Directors.
This is a four-year term, beginning January 2026 and concluding January 2030.
If you’ve expressed interest in the past, we kindly ask that you resubmit your name for consideration.
To apply, please complete the Nomination Form and either:
- Email it to [email protected], or
- Submit a hard copy in a sealed envelope, addressed to the BGCC Nominating Committee, via the Club mailbox outside the Office.
Staff Appreciation Day
On a hot and muggy June 23, over 90+ golfers braved the heat to celebrate BGCC’s incredible staff.
After golf, everyone gathered on the patio and enjoyed delicious offerings from the food trucks, ice cream, team prizes, BGCC swag, and well-earned refreshments. Thank you to the Board and Management teams for organizing a thoughtful event to recognize the hard work and dedication that make our staff so special!

Junior Golf Camp
The always popular Junior Golf Camp is back for 2025! Andy Young is looking forward to building your Juniors love for the game of golf.

Instructional Days:
- 8am to 12:00pm
- Thursday, July 17
- On-course Instruction with 18holes of golf
- Followed by pizza party on the patio

Junior Golf League – Starts July 14!
This year’s League features a fun new Team Format and the use of Smart Golf software to track weekly results and leaderboards in real-time.
Play 9-hole Net Stableford rounds each week with a fellow Junior or parent, at your convenience (within Junior Division hours). Weekly draw prizes and team results keep things exciting all summer long!
League runs July 14 – August 31

Solheim Cup
Thank you again to all those who participated in the Solheim Cup, Team White was victorious over the Team Red - bragging rights for Team White until next year! It should be noted the Burlington Food Bank was supported through the generosity of those who played in the Ladies’ Member Guest and the Solheim Cup. A total of $4685 was raised!

Ladies’ Senior and Club Championship
The Ladies’ Executive has approved the Tournament Guidelines for the Ladies’ Senior and Club Championship with the goal to have as many participants as possible. Though the events are not until August, the pertinent information is important during your decision-making process to play.

July Golf
It is hard to believe July is right around the corner. The Ladies do have a couple of weeks off with July 1 landing on a Tuesday and then the PGA Women’s Championship the following week but there are a few events as we move into the summer:

Men’s 2Ball Saturday
After the successful Men’s 2ball Saturday in June, the Men’s Captain’s Committee has approved a similar format for our next event on Saturday, July 5.
A reminder of how Men’s 2Ball Saturdays work:
- The Team game will be available all day on the designated Saturday 2man Team Events
- Your Team can be made up of a combination of A, B, Senior, Intermediate and Junior Male Members – Members are asked to play in their Membership Category playing times
- No entry fee required
- $100 Professional Shop Credit will be awarded to Champions
We will be utilizing a Better-Ball format once again where one net score on each hole counts for the Team – 90% Handicap.To prepare for the event we are asking Teams to register for the event below so scorecards can be prepared for your arrival.
